Image: REX/Shutterstock Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman is serving as inspo for the latest internet fashion. SEE ALSO: Kindergarteners are inspired by 'Wonder Woman' and it's adorable Anyone who's seen the Wonder Woman movie (or even the trailer) remembers that iconic scene where Wonder Woman oh-so cooly and collectively pulls an entire SWORD from the back of her stylish dress. Of course she just acts like it's no big deal, because she's Wonder Woman and all.   Now, women online are copying the look, and tagging it #WWGotYourBack. They're making their own bold fashion statement by pulling many types of swords from many types of dresses. The definitive ranking of 2017's most unnecessary fashion, so far

It's hard to keep up with questionable fashion, but 2017 is making it pretty easy because there's just so much out there so far. Since the year began, we've seen an abundance of downright bad ideas. There have been plenty of eyebrow and makeup trends, bizarre fabric choices, and unexpected collaborations that have blown us away with how unnecessary they are. If you want to make sure you're not committing any fashion faux pas yourself, we've ranked 2017's most unnecessary fashion so far from "Mostly okay" to "Please, make it stop." You've been warned. 14. Male Rompers aka the RompHim Image: kickstarter SEE ALSO: Aussie mag shoots iconic Instagrammer with an iPhone for its cover Honestly, the RompHim isn't that bad. We don't mind that guys are getting in on the romper trend, but have they ever had to pee really badly while wearing one? They don't even have to […] Read more »

Mother Pence introduces 20,000 bees to D.C. because that's what that place needs

Image: chip somodevilla/Getty Images She's been quiet for a while, but we're proud to report: Karen Pence is officially back in the game. The vice president's wife, who he calls "Mother" in typical conservative Oedipal fashion, just installed anywhere from 15,000 20,000 bees at the Vice President residence. The second lady is responding to the rapid and alarming drop in the global bee population. Karen Pence believes in science! SEE ALSO: What's Mike Pence thinking about in this photo? Like pretty much everything good in the Trump administration, Karen appears to have copied her idea from Michelle Obama. In 2009, Michelle helped to introduce over 35,000 bees to the White House. It's unclear how many bees the Vice President residence supports at this time or why they couldn't have picked a far cuter endangered species to support, like pandas. .@SecondLady's new beehive at VP residence highlights need for increase in […] Read more »

Please enjoy these cars backing perfectly into parking spaces

Friends, when it comes to online recreation, you've got a lot of options. You could watch an intricate candle carving video, for example. Or watch slime being made. Or watch a nice clip of waterfall. Or watch a teen pour a bunch of Orbeez into a pool. And there's fidget spinner porn now! It's all right there! Today, I'd like to throw another internet activity into the mix for your consideration: semi-truck parking videos. SEE ALSO: I am both mortified and mesmerized by these makeup destruction videos These clips, which feature massive vehicles slipping flawlessly into parking spaces, fall pretty firmly into the "oddly satisfying" category. The truck drivers, for many of whom this is standard practice, are an inspiration for bad parkers like yours truly, who failed her first driving test (passed the second, though!) and has literally never parallel parked in the wild. It's important to note that […] Read more »

Dolphins hydroplaning at super speed will make you want to be a dolphin

Just when you thought dolphins couldn't get any smarter or cooler, they show up every other animal in the kingdom and hydroplane like the speed demons they are. In this video uploaded to Youtube by BBC Earth, dolphins in Western Australia hunt for fish by zooming along the shoreline in the most majestic, speedy fashion. According to the video, dolphins usually stun their prey by slapping it with their tails. But for these dolphins, the fish are just a bit out of reach. So to capture their dinner, they wind up by vigorously pumping their tails to gain speed, and then hydroplane at super speed to grab the fish. No, the video isn't sped up - those guys are really going that fast. There's little room for error because if this strategy goes south for the dolphins, they could end up stranded on the shore. But life in the ocean […] Read more »

Image: ambar del moral/mashable It's just over three months into Donald Trump's term as president, and as much as you promised everyone on Facebook that you'd "NEVER GIVE UP!" it's time to be honest: you're totally gonna give up. Of course, you're not *actually* going to fold just yet you know that if you don't scream at your dumb Congressperson or send money to that rando candidate in Pieceofshittown, Western Civilization will crumble to the ground. But a creeping, low level sense of despair has already entered your bones. Your brain is a hazy fog of "Wait, what?," "I don't care," and "How are we not dead yet?" You're suffering from Trump Fatigue Syndrome. SEE ALSO: Give Trumpcare a break: Here are all the pre-existing conditions it will cover Psychologists have yet to do extensive research into the disease, perhaps because I made it up. That doesn't mean it doesn't […] Read more »
